John "Johnny D." DeSantis has 30 years of experience in thoroughbred racing in various occupations. He has worked in the publicity departments of all majorSouthern California racetracks and been a jockey's agent, racing official, writer and television personality for Santa Anita and HRTV. In 1999 he was part of the Santa Anita broadcasting team that won an Eclipse Award for Local Television Achievement. For six years he served as Executive Director of Kids to the Cup, a racing charity founded by the late Trudy McCaffery. For the last decade he has been employed in the online wagering industry and currently is Vice President Marketing/Racing for XpressBet.

Jon White has been a host for HRTV since the network's inception in 2002 and writes a weekly online racing column called It's Post Time. He also currently is a simulcast paddock commentator at Santa Anita and Oak Tree and a correspondent for The Blood-Horse and Washington Thoroughbred magazines. For eight years in the 1980s, he was a contributor to the Los Angeles Times, providing odds for Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar. In addition to a 25-year career with Daily Racing Form, White has worked as a steward, owned thoroughbreds and been Media Relations Manager at Lone Star Park. In 2004, White received the Mark Kaufman Media Award from the Washington Thoroughbred Breeders' Association "for excellence in reporting on the Washington Thoroughbred industry and Emerald Downs."
